SOCAN Foundation is proud to launch the Music Creator Scholarship!
This new initiative supports the next generation of Canadian music creators pursuing post-secondary studies in music production, composition, and songwriting.
This scholarship is intended for students who demonstrate creative promise and would benefit from financial support to pursue their education at an accredited post-secondary institution. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, a member of SOCAN and submit original musical works created within the two years prior to the application deadline.
Applications are now open until June 1st, 2026.
