Future Forest began in 2012 as a celebration of rhythm, music, and nature, originally launched as a fundraiser to support renowned DJ Jay Hamilton in his battle against cancer. Founded by a passionate community of artists and music lovers seeking something different, it has since grown into one of Canada’s most unique electronic music and arts festivals.
In 2019, Future Forest rebranded as an Art Experience, expanding its focus beyond music to fully embrace immersive installations, live performances, and interactive creativity. Despite its evolution, its core spirit remains unchanged—a festival built by artists, for artists. Every stage, installation, and experience reflects passion, collaboration, and artistic freedom, where attendees are not just spectators but active participants in shaping the festival’s magic.
Now, as Future Forest celebrates its eleventh year, it continues to push artistic boundaries, creating a community-driven, nature-inspired, and deeply immersive experience like no other.
