The Warm Up features 20–30 artists, with a strong focus on Alberta and Bow Valley performers across all genres.
Canmore Folk Festival: August 1–3, 2026
The Canmore Folk Festival presents more than 50 artists from around the world, with an emphasis on diverse, innovative, and high-quality programming. The festival has a mandate to support Canadian artists and expects all performers to participate in collaborative sessions. It provides performance opportunities for established and emerging artists across a variety of genres.
All submissions will be reviewed after the deadline, and selected artists will be contacted in the following months. Due to the high volume of applications, only selected artists will receive a response, but the festival team appreciates every submission.
