Award Opportunity - Polaris Music Prize 2026

The Polaris Music Submission Portal is now open!
For the first time ever, Canadian musicians can submit their music directly to the Polaris jury for consideration. And it's all free.
Polaris is currently accepting submissions for the 2026 season in both its Album and Song Prize categories. Music being considered for the #Polaris2026 season must have been released between April 1, 2025 and May 1, 2026.
Deadline to submit is May 1, 2026 though we strongly recommend submitting before then.
The purpose of the portal is to break down the barriers some artists had in navigating Polaris consideration and to create a broader pool of music the 200+ members of the Polaris Jury may consider for the annual Polaris Album Prize and SOCAN Polaris Song Prize.
These awards honour the best Canadian music released each year based on artistic merit, without regard for commercial consideration.
