After a landmark 20th edition celebrating two decades of discoveries and meaningful connections, and reaffirming its role as a key player in spotlighting music through its Official Selection, musical programming, and a thriving Pro Division, M for Montreal is launching its 21st edition, taking place from November 18 to 21.
The Official Selection of M for Montreal offers a unique platform showcasing emerging and established Canadian artists while fostering connections between music industry professionals. Selected artists perform in non-competitive concerts and showcases in front of more than 500 national and international delegates. The goal is to discover and promote artists with export potential and to create professional opportunities with key industry players such as agents, media representatives, labels, and programmers from around the world.
M for Montreal has served as a launching pad for many artists now internationally recognized, including Charlotte Cardin, Men I Trust, Mac DeMarco, and Grimes.
Artists and their teams wishing to take part in the festival are invited to respond to our call for applications starting now, until April 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (UTC−5).
