Showcase Opportunity: AMERICANAFEST 2026

AMERICANAFEST brings together the Americana music community from around the world including artists, music industry professionals, tastemakers and die-hard music fans to Nashville, TN, for multiple days of discovery showcases, panels and special events.
Official showcases take place on Wednesday, September 10, through Saturday, September 13, at venues throughout Nashville
Artists who are chosen to perform will play for key players all in one place including:
- Top Americana tastemakers
- First-rate industry professionals (A&R reps, booking agents, talent buyers, managers and more)
- National press outlets like AP, Rolling Stone and NPR Music
- Die-hard music fans
There is no submission fee; however, you must be an AmericanaFest member to apply. The showcase application can be found in their membership portal by logging in here.

Who can submit for a showcase?
All artist and industry members may apply for a showcase. If you're not a current artist or industry member and would like to submit, join their association. An artist membership has an annual fee of $35.
Which genres of music are eligible for showcase consideration?
The type of music accepted is Americana, which may include roots, country, folk, bluegrass, southern rock 'n' roll, blues, vintage R&B and soul music.
How are artists selected?
An objective panel of respected retailers, concert/club promoters and media professionals will review each submission.
If chosen, how long will my scheduled set be?
Official showcases are 45 minutes.
Are showcase artists paid to perform at the Festival?
Showcase artists are provided a modest stipend to help offset travel expenses. Showcasing artists also receive an AMERICANAFEST Conference + Festival Pass.

To note: Artists selected for official AmericanaFest showcases may be eligible to apply for showcase support through Creative Saskatchewan, FACTOR, and/or the Canada Council. Please note that SaskMusic will not be sending staff to attend this year's event, but can assist Sask artists in preparing for their showcase opportunity and advise on the event in general.
