Rosie and the Riveters

This folk/gospel/accapella group of fiercely talented women inspired by Rosie, and the fashion and music of her time, has released its 11-song debut live album. It captures their compelling and seductive vocal arrangements, humour and charm, and inspires toe-tapping with their African American spirituals, bluegrass numbers, and contemporary folk songs. Alexis Normand, Farideh, Kiera Dall’Osto and Melissa Nygren have come together on the project and invite music lovers to revisit the spirit of gospel music with a side of folk, and the charm of the 1940s.
