The first official release from Eli, For Short represents the past, present, and future of emerging Saskatoon musician Elias Edlund. Eli’s songwriting and guitar work are as diverse as his influences; ranging from the ‘90s alternative rock sound of The Goo Goo Dolls and Gin Blossoms to the solo acoustic guitar virtuosity of Tommy Emmanuel. The debut 4-song EP (one of which is a guitar instrumental) was recorded/mixed/mastered at and Red Door Recording, with Josh Palmer and Ryan Andersen, respectively, and features Kyle Krysa on drums, Brynn Krysa on bass, and Eli on all guitars and vocals.Recorded at: PM Studios.
