After releasing an EP in 2010, Normand embarked on a collaborative journey with Zoe Fortier, a visual artist, to study the concept of space. Together they explored physical and abstract locations inspired by the prairies to understand how these places shaped their identity. Mirador is a result of this collaboration, and is Normand’s first full-length album. Her smooth jazz-folk compositions are moving, and reveal the discreet emotions and touching sensitivity of this young artist.
