Formerly playing under the moniker Julia and Her Piano, McDougall released the I Don’t Really Care EP under her full name. Her sound has evolved while maintaining its folksy flair. The piano only makes an appearance on one song, but the addition of strings make the arrangement lush. Partially recorded in an old church in the ghost town of Bromhead SK, this EP precedes a full-length album to be released in early 2013. Having recently graduated from BC’s Simon Fraser University with a degree in composition, McDougall has returned home to Saskatchewan, and we’re glad for it.Produced by: Andy Shauf.
