The singer-songwriter-pianist joined forces with producer & multi-instrumentalist Danny Michel in creating his latest album. Its nine tracks serve up Straker’s signature brand of folk-pop-cabaret but this time shift the sonics in a neo-folk direction, while taking the listener on a journey of escape and exploration. The recording is centred around Jeffery’s piano-vocal performance and is tinted with synths, guitars, harmonica, and a string quartet.
