Born of a collaboration between Scott Benson and Jared Robinson, the two musicians created this as a concept album for an unwritten film that "featured an undecided ending". The project evolved into a band, with Cade Anderson, Cameron Church and Jared Dormer joining in. This orchestral album crosses a few genres, with Robinson's trademark lush production underpinning the solo fiddle, and the addition of hip hop artist Ursa Maja (on "The Music Inside").
