Twin Fiddles

March 2021

Twin Fiddles 5 continues the collaboration between
fiddlers, fellow travelers and storytellers, J.J. Guy and Gordon Stobbe.
This collaboration between Saskatchewan’s JJ Guy and Nova Scotia's Gordon Stobbe showcases fifteen co-written compositions inspired by places they have visited and people they have met and worked with in their travels in Western Canada and the Canadian North. Here is twin fiddling in the traditional sense – close harmonies and fresh, memorable melodies with exciting and complimentary accompaniment. Somewhere between a travelogue and a salute to our wonderful country's hidden treasures, “Twin Fiddles” is a rich addition to traditional fiddle in Canada.
