Roland’s roots have been steeped in country music from his early childhood days. It’s the reason he surrounds himself with like-minded players, be they friends, family or members of the various bands he has performed with. Receiving the 2016 Sask. Country Music Award for ‘Aboriginal Artist of the Year’, Roland honed his skills on stage before releasing his debut EP. Born and raised in - and inspired by - beautiful northern Sask., Roland’s blend of the old and new styles of country music is sure to please listeners, with nationally released single “I Don’t Wanna Fight No More” reaching #8 on the DMDS Most Active Indies chart.
