With nearly 20 years of experience in the Western Canadian Music scene, the New Jacobin Club has been called everything from a “Bohemian Punk Rock Cabaret” to a “must-see bucket list band” with a live show that incorporates gothic-flavoured sideshow performance art, theatrical storylines and colourful instrumentation including electric cello and theremin. Their fifth full-length album continues the band’s obsession with historical and occult themes and is a modern retelling of the End of Days, told through the stories of characters involved with an ancient secret society whose purpose is to bring about the events described in the Book of Revelations.
