Manhattan Haze

T.B. Judd

September 2014

“Manhattan Haze” is a combination of songs written from when T.B. Judd was a solo project, and from after the formation of the 5-piece band came to be. Center stage on the record is Judd’s raspy vocal style and story-telling lyrics, however the intricate instrumentation from Orin Paquette’s guitar work, Phil Legrand’s bass lines, Dan Crozier’s harmonica, organ, and percussion, as well as the solid drum rhythm provided by Tristan Helgason give the album its intensely layered dynamics. The genre-jumping songs go from tango and gypsy, to folk and jazz. Produced by: Justin Bender, Orin Paquette, Judd Stachoski. Recorded at: Blue Door Studio and Down The Hatch Studio, Regina.
