Never content to walk alone, the Truth Hurts surround themselves with wind orchestras, brass sections, string quartets, gospel groups, and more to make sure the journey never gets tiresome. From the upbeat first steps on “Smile Baby” through to the denouement at the end of “This Is the Life”, the album pays homage to the very things that make life worth living - air to breathe, love of family, and a good home-cooked meal.
