The debut recording from this Saskatoon blues band is a collection of twelve tracks; three originals penned by Ernie and nine covers of standard to obscure tunes from the likes of Benny Rickun and Gerry Hundt, Wisconsinite harp players, the Wolf, Tom Rush, and Billy Boy Arnold. All tunes are arranged by the band and depart from the original recordings, putting a Pan Fried take on each. This first offering from a group of veteran musicians is definitely worth a listen and will be appreciated by anyone who likes their blues straight up and tight.
