Rollin’ On Down the Plains

In With The Old

July 2014

In With the Old is a young acoustic trio that provides a fresh new take on old-time music. They draw influence from bands such as the Carter Family, the Stanley Brothers and Bill Monroe. Their debut 8-song album features the beautiful harmonies of Ellen Froese-Koojienga and Kasia Thorlakson, combined with the hot banjo licks of Jaxon Lalonde. Together they create a unique sound that reaches far beyond their years. “It’s an eclectic mix that skirts the edges of bluegrass, folk, country and maybe even a little alternative jazz-rockabilly.” Produced by: Brady Leduc. Recorded at: Pulsworks Audio Arts, Saskatoon. More info: https://www.facebook.com/pages/In-With-The-Old
