In the heart of a prairie winter on a farm out in rural Saskatchewan, The Seahags recorded their fourth and final release “Tarnished Gold”. Billing themselves as an old-timey, country garage band, the album features nine tracks including a Carter Family cover, an original reel, a remake of the hit “Delta Dawn,” as well as songs on heartache, feminism, and rambling, which “similarly alternate between searing folk-rock energy and plucky melodies.” The album was recorded, produced, and mastered by Chad Mason at Sinewave Studios (Shooting Guns/Zachary Lucky).
