Following the successful reception of their debut EP and a summer of touring in support of it, The Dead South began working on their first full-length album. Good Company is a diverse collection of modern bluegrass and folk explorations which features 13 original songs. Being fans of spaghetti westerns, Grindhouse films, and shows like Deadwood, many of the songs are made-up stories about people who get themselves into trouble, and often include drinking, gambling, murder, and barren landscape…all the “good company” that might inhabit a hell.
