Heartwork

Jesse Brown

March 2014

Jesse Brown is a Saskatoon piano teacher, performer, session musician, and composer with an extensive history of work dating back to 1992. He recently recorded two full-length albums of solo piano pieces, “December” (2012) and “Heartwork” (2014). The latest is a collection of 14 original piano pieces created with the support of the Saskatchewan Arts Board. These compositions were inspired by strength, kindness, perseverance, respect and love. “Prairie Wind” has a Chopin type of flavour; “Sunday Morning” displays the influence of Guaraldi; “Woolly Moose” sounds like a ‘70s sitcom theme; “Un jour de pluie” will leave you sitting on a window sill, and staring outside. Produced by: Jesse Brown. More Info: www.jessebrown.net Released: March 24, 2014
