Richmond’s debut is a collection of emotionally-charged folk songs tinged with soul, pop, and outlaw country; stories of love, loss, rebellion, life, and death, set over a backdrop of explosive vocals, luring melodies, and sensational musicianship. After several years of rambling through a dozen countries, the Southern Sask. musician took his guitar to Nashville, where he met Gabe Masterson and began recording with some of the city’s finest, including Colin Linden (The Band, Bob Dylan), Kris Wilkinson (Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young) and Kim Morrison (Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ray Charles).
