The fourth release from Saskatoon singer/songwriter Matt Hutchings, with nine original tracks bringing to mind a birch tree forest on a snowy winter day, a storm approaching over rolling wheatfields, and small town midnight walks under a starry, starry sky. The album is dreamy, mellow, textured folk pop while being straight-up, humble and honest at the same time. Hutchings recorded almost all the guitars, bass, and vocals for this album in his studio, then invited special guests Zachary Lucky on banjo, Lucas Goetz (The Deep Dark Woods) on pedal steel, and Kacy Anderson (Kacy and Clayton) on vocals.
