What happens when a musical collision occurs between a bluesy poet, a hard rock guitar wizard, a punk rock drummer, and a bassist who just can’t stop the funk? The resulting alchemy is Bastard Poetry, a Saskatoon-based rock group that has been gaining momentum with their high-energy, stomp-inducing live performances. Their goal is simple. Make as many people move their feet in as many places as possible. Striving to keep their recordings organic and true to their live show, this album explores the fallout from the birth, maintenance, and destruction of deeply rooted personal connections.
