The debut from this Regina five-piece combines the heavy orchestration of symphonic metal with the fast guitars of power metal, and the musical complexity of prog metal. For this EP, Hell Hounds wanted to create a unique but accessible introduction to the world of symphonic power metal. The band is guitarist Ryan Pawelko, bassist Joseph Maciag, drummer Ryan Bennett, Brad Korol on keys, classically trained vocalist Viviana Aaren, and Donny Pinay on rhythm guitar. They’ve already won over a widely varied audience – from traditional metal fans and goths, to old school headbangers eager for acrobatic and virtuosic guitar riffs.
