Cat Mask

Ki The Tree

January 2018

In this duo’s debut release, guitarist Keegan Rohovich and drummer Brett Lindsay have compiled eight energetic and consistently emotional tracks, which stroll fearlessly into the odd times and often uncomfortable world of math and instrumental rock. Though prominently featuring clean guitars, Ki The Tree doesn’t shy away from getting loud and aggressive. Jolting rhythmic blasts from songs like ‘Prospero’ give way to experimental noise tracks that show a glimpse into the emotional content of the album, largely focused on coping with death and creating oneself anew after facing deep trauma. Recorded at: home studio, Saskatoon. Produced by: Keegan Rohovich & Brett Lindsay. More info: https://kithetree.bandcamp.com
