The Great Fuss

The Great Fuss

August 2017

The band’s debut full-length is comprised of energetic and inventive rock music, with a strong focus on melodic hooks, with most of the songs written in the hopes of getting people dancing or grooving along to it. A few contemplative and softer tracks are included as well, such as ‘Sunday Morning’ and ‘Feeling Down’, where the focus was more on creating interesting arrangements that venture away from standards or popular conventions of rock music. A variety of instruments are featured, including cello, mandolin, accordion, ghatam, and glockenspiel, showing off a depth of arrangement.

Recorded at: Home Studio, Saskatoon. Produced by: Pete Oldridge. Released: August 1, 2017
