The debut album from folk sister duo, Janaya and Jolissa Trudel, “Grounded and Light” offers listeners eight original tracks, each distinct in their simple depth. The sisters, though young, are not without experience, actively playing with their multiple-SCMA (Saskatchewan Country Music Association) Award-winning family band, The Trudel Family. Jay & Jo recently were nominated for their own SCMA Award, Roots Artist of the Year 2017. Their album features such talented musicians as Hal Schrenk, Chris Donohue, Mark Whitehead, Murray Pulver, Joey Landreth, Bart McKay, Daniel Koulack, and Eric Wright.
