Blue Youth are a post-punk band out of the Queen City. Consisting of members that have previously contributed to Surf Dads, Bermuda Love, Geronimo, and Coldest Night of the Year, Gage McGuire (guitar, vocals), Jon Wolfond (bass) and Garret Matheis (drums) come together to form a sound consisting of dynamic vocals, sharp, intricate guitar lines, fuzzed out bass riffs, and pounding, yet precisely placed percussion. Fast and powerful instrumentation, coupled with a vocal style that is as pop-tinged as they are desperate, this prairie noise band pulls no punches. Recorded at: Grind Central Station.
