Sammy Rose played across Canada, Nashville, and an eight-year European adventure before settling back in Langenburg, Sask. with her life and music partner, guitarist Jack Hollenberg. The duo recently wrapped recording of their long-awaited seventh album at their own studio, Silk and Steel, which they created a number of years ago to provide a space for their, and their friends’, creativity. The album, a mix of country and blues, features local musicians Adam Keough (drums), Bob Markham (piano) as well as Charlotte Neyedley, Erin Fleury, and Katie Miller on backing vocals.
