As head of the long-running prairie R&B band Absofunkinlutely, musician/songwriter Woods is no stranger to “rubber to the road” touring. A longtime lover of soul, reggae and any groove-style music, Randy thought it was about time for a solo project. His new album has a little something for everyone with a fresh blend of Ska, New Orleans style rhythms, and funk. He’s joined by Mike Pierce (drums/bass), Geoff Assman (organ/keys), Adam Striesel (trumpet/flugelhorn), and Carter Powley (sax/trombone/flute), along with a number of featured guests.
