Beginning as an alt-country group with a sound that continues to evolve, RTD (a staple of Saskatoon’s scene for over a decade) blends power-pop, psychedelic rock, garage, and cosmic country to craft a sound reminiscent of dank 1970s basements with one foot firmly in the now. In Our Prime showcases the band at its raucous best; with tightly crafted melodies, while still capturing the feel so typical of the great power-pop bands of the past. The band’s strongest songwriting yet is evident on driving rockers like “Stuck on You” and laid-back California jams like “It Ain’t Right”. Recorded at: Avenue Recording Company, Saskatoon.
