Ponteix’s four track bilingual EP takes listeners on a sonic trip with a layered indie-rock sound, with content able to traverse the language barrier by delivering the message and emotion through their sound. Poised between human and extra-terrestrial, band founder Mario Lepage (an award-winning French vocalist/multi-instrumentalist) and his intoxicating vocal timbre deliver clever lyrics floating over cascading stereo delays, pulsing rhythms and sub-frequency howls laid down by Adam Logan (guitar) and Kyle Grimsrud-Manz (drums).
