Peace Sugar Blood is an eclectic mix of smoky acoustic and electric guitar-driven vocal and instrumental rock and rock-blues. The music ranges from the Delta Blues-inspired slide guitar riffing of “That’s OK Whatever,” to the haunting middle-eastern vibe of “Blood”. “River of Peace” offers a hopeful take on life’s troubles while “Dry Your Eyes” displays palpable anger and cynicism. “Sugar Plum Girl” is a delicate ode to lust, while “Sugar Downtown” is a thumping blues-rock take on the seedy side of life.
