Eden the Cat, also known as Eden Rohatensky, is the frontwoman of Orphan Mothers, and Eden & Escrow. Her debut solo release, “nine tracks of dark vocal-driven folk” was written, recorded, and produced in her mother’s craft room during a week-long trip to Saskatoon and released in September 2014. Underneath the folk twang and vocals, Amateur is built on the passionate anger of punk rock, fuelled by a combination of loneliness and ambition.
