Liza Jayne Brown is a Cree/Metis woman who grew up north of the Saskatchewan River in a small rural place called Tweedsmuir. The Storm is about love & heartbreak, survival, remembering, resilience, joy in life, letting go and being open to new growth. Brown describes her music as contemporary Aboriginal/Country/Folk/Blues, with a definite roots feel. “I love the creative process of writing songs & as for singing for an audience, I have discovered it is a great way to connect with people and enjoy the joys that music brings.” Produced by: Rich McFarlane.
