Regina’s Slim City Pickers (Andy Beisel, Orin Paquette, Ian Cameron, Dick Yeates and Tristan Helgason) “bring back that old time feeling with foot-tapping, knee-slapping music.” Describing their sound as country-rock group, they draw from a well of mixed influences to make a unique sound that’s sure to get you dancing. Using vocal and guitar harmonies, and pedal steel, they make a new sound with a familiar feel. The album’s already showed up on several “best of” lists, including DJ Paul Corby’s “best 50 of 2014” and “Top 10 Songs of the 2014” on One Chord out of Finland.
