Berglund’s evolution has taken him from a pseudo-metal touring act to a one-man acoustic troubadour, finally to find his niche as a gritty cowboy laureate with a polished studio sound. With the incorporation of The Vultures in 2012, priority was focused on the importance of a energetic live performance. This raw energy was captured on Jasper; transforming a quaint mountain venue into a rowdy honky tonk. Channeling the likes of Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash, Berglund and band carry their strong songwriting with heavy backbeats, catchy hooks, and tight harmonies that only a band with chemistry can pull off.
