FACTOR

Join us for a digital info session with FACTOR!

NOTE: Registration is now closed and the session is full. A copy of the recording will be available to view afterwards.

Whether you're a seasoned FACTOR applicant, or applying for the first time, this will act as a great introduction or refresher on their portal and application processes! Note the upcoming deadlines of May 28 for their Artist Development* and Juried Sound Recording* streams. *Descriptions below

In this 90 minute session, FACTOR will walk us through a general overview of their operations, take a digital walk-through of their online portal, check out an artist development application and have plenty of time for questions! If you create your artist and applicant profile now, we'll walk through the process of what's needed for an artist development grant during the webinar and you'll be able to pull up your own profile and follow along.

The webinar will be run through FACTOR's webinar platform, with links being sent out ahead of time. Please email brittney@saskmusic.org with any questions you may have!

Artist Development Grant, Deadline May 28, 2020
The Artist Development Program offers a $2,000 subsidy toward one year of artist development activities including sound recording, touring & showcasing, video production, marketing and promotion. These activities must be detailed in an Artist Development Plan, which will be submitted to FACTOR as a required element of the application.

A relatively new offering, the Artist Development program is perhaps the most logical starting point for an artist, and is less competitive than some of their more involved grants

Juried Sound Recording, Deadline May 28. 2020
The Juried Sound Recording program funds a portion of the cost of production of an original full-length sound recording, and contributes to the marketing and promotion of that sound recording under the Marketing, Tour Support, Showcase, Radio Marketing, and Video components.
