Performances for DAY 2 will include the following (in performance order):
The Conservatory Prairie Kids Chorus Intermediate Choir is a choir for young musicians discovering the joys of singing together. Our Intermediate choir (ages 7-13) will be presenting a short selection of traditional and festive choral repertoire. The choir is directed by Rina Schmidt, with collaboration and accompaniment by Michael Dymund.
The Conservatory Youth String Program – Cello is an early learning string program designed to provide students their first experience with the cello. Cello group classes meet once a week encouraging polishing performance pieces, reviewing repertoire, and building community. This group is taught by Alaina Majewski.
The Conservatory Youth String Orchestra gives young string players ages 8-12 their first experience with independent part playing. Our violin and cello students will be presenting a variety of classical, folk, and holiday pieces. This orchestra is directed by Alaina Majewski.
Get ready to be transported to Southern Spain with performances from Flamenco Regina. Our flamenco dancers will showcase this dynamic music, song and dance form that is sure to bring the energy up in the theatre! These groups are led by Lilia Kusiak and Coreen Dupre. Accompaniment is led by Peter Dickof.
