Rootin’ Tootin’ Connor Newton is a freelance saxophonist currently located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Growing up in the small city of North Battleford, Connor started playing at a very young age. Connor has performed and recorded with The University of Toronto Jazz Orchestra feat. Dave Liebman and Norma Winstone, Collective Order, Delusions of Grandeur as well as such local bands as;VBND & Katie Tupper, JJ White & The Release, Sammy Lee Folkersen, Randy Woods Band, and his own hip-hop project, Contrafact.
Connor will be at Gather Local Market on April 10th, 2026 from 7:00-9:00pm.
