The Canadian Progress Club, an all-Canadian service club founded in Toronto in 1922, has 36 clubs across Canada. We are proud to be Canadian and proud to make a difference to those we serve.

Our Mission

The Saskatoon Downtown Progress Club is a fellowship of likeminded individuals focused on enhancing our community and supporting our youth in need.

Overview

The Club began its charitable giving with support to Big Brothers Association of Saskatoon and was responsible for the building of the Big Brothers permanent home on 33rd Street East.  Construction started in 1987 and the home was officially dedicated in May of 1988.  Big Brother’s have since amalgamated with Big Sisters and moved to larger more suitable facilities.  The Club provided our wholehearted support to the two organizations to sell the building on 33rd Street and use the proceeds to help fund the new location.
