50 YEARS OF HOPE, HEALING, AND PURPOSE - CELEBRATE WITH US
In 1975, a group of forward thinking powerhouse women started the Regina Women's Community Centre, with a vision of promoting the equality of women within their own community. They offered a drop-in centre, referrals, counselling services, advocacy, and a library. From this grassroots effort grew the Regina and Area Sexual Assault Centre, the leader in sexualized violence support, counselling, and expertise in Southern Saskatchewan. 50 years later, we are still working for survivors, evolving and growing with survivor needs, and pioneering change and advocacy across Saskatchewan.
We invite you to join us on November 7 in the beautiful Shumiatcher Room at Conexus Arts Centre as we celebrate this milestone, look back on the incredible work done over the last 50 years, and look forward to the future of our organization with our amazing community of supporters.
It started in the 70s, and we chose to celebrate with a fun and funky evening of celebration, throwin' it back with a themed variety show loaded with good vibes. The evening will feature live entertainment, trivia contests, a retro photo station, silent auction, local art, delicious appies, signature cocktails and mocktails, and more.
