We don’t do many show here at Malty but this Saturday, October 25th we have a few artists from the Heritage neighbourhood along with a much beloved Saskatoon band performing. Doors are at 9:00pm, as soon as we regularly close for the evening, and it’s $15 at the door. Music will start around 9:30pm.
Christopher Sleightholm & The Beautiful Band
Chris is a longtime resident of Heritage and has been exploring his unique brand of Byrds-infused, psychedelic twang in Regina for years with bands like Thee Hoolies, The Lonesome Weekends, and Snake River. Joining him in his Beautiful Band will be Andy Beisel and Ian Cameron.
The Seahags
Saskatoon old-timey country-garage music. They’re known for their blend of roots, country, and grunge and for their electric live show. They’ve been a staple of the Saskatoon music scene for the last 15 years and feature - in their professional, regular lives - two social workers, two nurses, a baker, and a shipper/receiver.
Zoë James and the Wistful Daydreams
This group came from a wish to give Zoë’s music a new life. The wish was answered by the lovely humans she now calls her bandmates who gave their time, care, and talent to this musical magic.
