With influences ranging from Miles Davis to the Carpenters to J Dilla, the Worst Pop Band Ever is a Toronto based group that has been entertaining audiences from NYC to Taipei since 2005. Individually - Chris Gale (sax), Adrean Farrugia (keys), Dafydd Hughes (keys), Drew Birston (bass), and Tim Shia (drums) - have had the good fortune of playing with a host of award winners in a multitude of genres from Blue Rodeo to Ernie Watts and Holly Cole to Matt Dusk. Together, despite their name, have been featured on film soundtracks, CBC shows, and themes for podcasts. Their newest release, the Least Greatest Hits vol.1 - celebrates 20 years together and features a host of special guests including Caity Gyorgy, Elizabeth Shepherd, and Rebecca Hennessy.
