We are so excited to have Back of the Bus returning to the Rustic Nine Loft Sessions on September 27th, 2025! Back of the Bus is a dynamic folk/Celtic band from central Saskatchewan, blending classic and contemporary sounds rooted in Scottish, Irish, and East Coast traditions. Formed in 2003, and named after late-night singalongs on a pipe band trip, they’ve filled dance floors and lifted spirits ever since. Their shows feature rich harmonies, toe-tapping fiddle tunes, and heartfelt ballads. They’ve played festivals, pubs, ceilidhs, and private events across the Prairies, including a sold-out performance at the Rustic Nine in 2024. With numerous recordings over the years, the band’s current lineup features Jim Walls, Emma Wood, Anna Bekolay, Kathi Davis-Lepage, Kera Doherty, and Paul Runalls.
