Join us for a concert celebrating fierce women in music for International Women's Day. Four Sask artists from a mix of musical styles including folk/singer-songwriter, R&B, roots, soul and pop. This is a benefit concert with proceeds going to Qu'Appelle Haven Safe Shelter.

Eileen Laverty has entertained audiences across Canada and abroad with her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Her music reflects a broad range of influences and inspiration, and is rooted in her love of a good story. With her signature blend of folk, Celtic, and contemporary sounds, Eileen’s music speaks to themes of love, hope, and resilience, resonating deeply with listeners of all ages. Her live performances are truly personal experiences, drawing audiences into the heart of her songs. Laverty’s music has been featured in film and television programs, and landed her performances with a diverse range of artists, including the late country legend Kenny Rogers, rocker Tom Cochrane, Canadian Tenor John McDermott, and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Eileen Laverty is known for her heartfelt lyrics and storytelling, but it’s her pure, clear voice that is her calling card.
Nafsi Rose is an Afro-Indigenous artist whose music blends the rich rhythms of R&B and the raw energy of Hip Hop, creating a distinct sound that reflects her unique upbringing and connection to both past and future. Hailing from Piapot First Nation and raised in Regina, , Nafsi’s music is deeply rooted in her Indigenous heritage while embracing the influence of contemporary genres. Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences, her upbringing, and the world around her, Nafsi’s songs often explore themes of identity, resilience, and hope. Her smooth, soulful voice serenades her dynamic beat choices, weaving storytelling with an authenticity that resonates deeply with listeners. Nafsi Rose’s work is not only a testament to her cultural heritage but also a forward-looking exploration of what the future can hold, blending the best of both worlds in a sound that feels timeless and fresh.
Fiyin Obayan is a Nigerian-born, Saskatchewan-raised singer-songwriter whose music blends gospel, jazz, R&B, and neo-soul into a sound that is both timeless and contemporary. Her songwriting is rooted in a foundation of deeply spiritual and soulful artistry, capturing universal themes with heartfelt authenticity. Her latest single, Walking by Faith, has garnered international recognition, featured on platforms like Sons do Guardinha (Brazil), Smooth Jazz Nights, EJazz Radio, Nam Radio, Montréal Radio Cité, and CHVN 95.1FM, among others. This soulful anthem of resilience highlights her ability to connect deeply with audiences around the world. Fiyin trained at the Canadian College of Performing Arts and earned a Jazz Music Certification from the University of Saskatchewan. Her distinctive voice and captivating performances have lit up stages at the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival since 2018. She has also been featured in SaskMusic's Black History Month Concert Series and was honoured with the YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Arts and Culture.
Annette Campagne’s 30-year career as a recording artist is a testament to faith. Writing in both English and French, this Canadian singer-songwriter was a founding member of the iconic group ‘Hart Rouge’ before embarking on a solo career. She has produced 6 albums, toured ALL of Canada as well as Europe and the U.S., and has garnered several nominations and awards (Western Canadian Music Award for Papillon amiral) Her latest ambient project is nominated for a Saskatchewan Music Award.
