The 2024 Contemplative Arts Festival of Saskatoon will take place at Grosvenor Park United Church from May 23–26, 2024. Following the highly successful festivals of 2019 and 2023, the church will once again sponsor three and a half days of arts programming and conversation meant to encourage deep connection and self-expression.
Over 30 artists and presenters will generate 46 activities including 29 workshops, six special events and two panel discussions.
The festival is largely free; some workshops are $10.
Try your hand at birchbark basketmaking, acrylic painting, sculpture, songwriting, T’ai Chi Chih, contemplative cooking, and the list goes on! There’ll be an installation of sculptures by the Prairie Sculptors’ Association and several performance events, including a concert by Ontario’s Coco Love Alcorn, winner of the Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Contemporary Singer.
Check out their website: ContemplativeArtsFestival.ca for all the details. Everyone’s welcome!
