With roots in rural Saskatchewan, the Local Group puts their own unique spin on hard-driving traditional bluegrass, also taking influence from Celtic, classic country, Canadiana, punk, hip hop and more. Featuring hot picking on banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, tight 3-part harmonies, and a mixed bag of instruments including double bass, harmonica, penny whistle and triangle, the Local Group is Jaxon Lalonde (banjo/bass), Elliot Dillabough (guitar), Ethan Peters (bass), and Olivia Morelli (fiddle).
